A few words...	Director Pradeep Sarkar has transferred Sarat Chandra's novel into the 1960s. Young musician Shekhar (Saif Ali Khan) and the orphaned girl Lolita (Vidya Balan) grow up toghether. When they fall in love with each other as youngsters they face the opposition of their parents. Lolita is supposed to marry Girish (Sanjay Dutt) an old friend of the family.
