A few words...	Bobby Bedi's new production Mangal Pandey - The Rising is a big epic evolving around the mutiny of 1857 when Indian soldiers in the British Army revolted against the British. This chapter of history - referred to as the first war of independence in India - has been portrayed in Hindi cinema many times, e. g. in Mohan Sinha's 1857 or in Harmesh Malhotra's Mangal Pandey. But the most outstanding film on it certainly is Shyam Benegal's Junoon.
