A few words...The first direction of the former architects and art directors Jaya and Nachiket Patwardhan deals with an important event of early revolutionary resistance against the British colonial rule. On the 22nd of June 1897 the three brothers Damodar, Vasudev and Balkrishna Chapekar kill the British Officer Walter Charles Rand, who imposed martial law in Pune due to a plague. The British finally manage to hunt down all the three of them. They are hanged in 1898.
