A few words...On her nineth birthday Amudha is told by her parents that she had been adopted as a baby. Amudha is restless and wants to find her biological mother. At the orphanage, where she was born, she learns that her mother came from the north of Sri Lanka, where she returned after Amudha's birth. Though that region of Sri Lanka is affected by a civil war, Amudha is adamant to find her mother.
