At that time Shah Rukh also had a few flops. English Babu Desi Mem with Sonali Bendre did not do well at the box office. The much awaited Trimurti with Shah Rukh, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in 1995 was a big commercial failure.
But starting from 1997 Shah Rukh devlivered a hit almost every year: Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2000), Devdas (2002), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) and Main Hoon Na (2004). Shah Rukh has been married to Gauri Khan since 1991. They have a son named Aryan, born in 1997, and a daughter named Suhana, born in 2000. Together with Gauri Shah Rukh started to produce films under their banner named Dreamz Unlimited. After two flops they finally delivered a hit with Chalte Chalte. Their second banner Red Chillies Entertainment produced the hit film Main Hoon Na.
Shah Rukh Khan became the moderator of the famous quiz show "Kaun Banega Crorepati". After Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai he became the third Indian film star, whose fax figure is exhibited at Madame Tussaud's. An excellent documentary on Shah Rukh Khan in two parts was made in 2005 by the Indian film expert and documentary filmmaker Nasreen Munni Kabir under the title The Inner and Outer World of Shah Rukh Khan.
In 2007 Shah Rukh had two mega hits: The Yash Raj production Chak De India and his home production Om Shanti Om.
